Explanation:

This is a kite build. It is okay to use this build with Q1 against melees or Q2 if you need the extra range against a ranged build that you cant trade spells with, such as curse or fire staff. Q2 is also good for clearing out Wolpertingers that may get in the way to block your Es.

Generally, Badon bow is more suited for the mists, as it is better for dismounting and for finishing kills. However, Warbow is more often used as it is much cheaper.

When playing Badon bow, keep in mind that your E has a interrupt on it, which is very useful against things like Fire Staff or Cultist Robes. Badon bow is very vulnerable to reflects, so keep your soldier helmet for enemy hunter hoods. Mistwalker Jacket is a common choice as well for Badon, and is good against Infernal Shield. Sitting inside the AOE created by your Badon E can zone off Melee players, this is helpful against melees that may have much more mobility than you otherwise.
For Warbow, since your E cannot offer the utility that Badon E has, your Jacket is extremely important for kiting, and also for chasing. Against melees with much higher damage and sustain mechanics like axe E, dagger E, and merc jacket, they can easily turn a fight around if you chase them without your jacket cooldown. Track the cooldowns of their mobility skills, do not frost shot or use boots to chase unless you have an answer for their turn-around.

Strengths and weaknesses:

Very long ranged Es for preventing remounts, for a kiting build, it is fairly high damage.

Mid mobility. Using your one mobility skill to kite often means you won’t have it to chase. In the Mist environment you will lose many kills because of this.

Variations:

Hunter Hood is often used as a good defensive skill that can return some damage. It is a good choice against the Stalker Jacket meta and against telegraphed damage abilities such as Chillhowl E.

Purity Cowl is good for extra damage. Bows generally have trouble finishing kills, and Purity can help with that downside.

A cheap cloth helmet of any sort for Force Field is fine for a budget build. Cleric Cowl and Mage Cowl are fine options as their primary skills are also useful.

Mistwalker Jacket is a good choice for Badon Bows if you do not want to run a soldier helmet. Bows have no I-frames, so either Soldier Helmet or Mistwalker Jacket should be included to cover that shortcoming.

If you plant to run this build at higher tier, Undead Cape is highly recommended as it offers an extra layer of protection against rats.
