Fire/Wildfire Q1- Budget Build
C Tier
Awakening trats:
As a budget build, it’s not likely that you’d want to play an awakening weapon. But if for some reason you want to try this, HP, DEF, Ability Damage are the best common traits. Cast speed can also be helpful if no other options are available.
Default Abilities and Passives:
Wildfire
Q1, W2, passive 3
Hunter Hood
Retaliate, passive 1
Cleric Robe:
Everlasting Spirit, passive 1
Soldier boots:
Wanderlust, passive 2
Explanation:
This is a “turret” build. Low mobility high damage. Use hunter hood to deter enemy damage, if you can, time it so you reflect big enemy skills like Carving Sword E, or Stalker Jacket. Since this is a budget build, most people would run this with low gear, so you have have to stack gig pot with hunter hood at the same time against over geared opponents. Against even IP opponents, it’s better to space these out. Use W 5 against ranged enemies. W5 can be easily interrupted or reflected, so make sure you have your cleric robe bubble active while channeling it. The damage buff on cleric robe will also improve your W a lot. It’s hard to land this E on ranged targets, so you wanderlust to get close before using E or you will miss and lose a lot of damage. Against Melees, use W2 to keep them away from you while you spam Q at them. If you end up fighting a melee while you have W5, standing on your own AOE can force them to stay away from you, creating the same effect as W1.
Strengths and weaknesses:
High Damage, can kill with low gear if your enemy screws up.
Low mobility, cannot keep up with hit-and-run or kite meta.
Variations:
Fire staff (1h) is often used instead of wildfire, 1h fire is much more reliable against ranged, but does less damage than wildfire. Wildfire has more damage potential, 1h fire is more reliable.
As a budget build, you’d often want to just wear a flat cape to save money. But if you can afford a good cape, a flat 4 Keeper Cape will greatly increase your damage.
Cleric Cowl a good option, as it can be used while stunned and is very effective against the Doublebladed Staff+Stalker Jacket meta.
Main Food:
Beef Stew or omelet.
